Glory Days Pizza - Overland Park: Fresh, Crispy, and Authentic Pizza Experience

My husband and I ate there for the first time last night, and we will definitely be back. The service was friendly and food was absolutely delicious. The original crust has the perfect crispy bottom. I can't wait to try a different pizza next time. The whole place was spotless too.

The only suggestion I would make would be about the lighting in the restaurant. The lights are very bright, making a very cold atmosphere, and a dimmer on those bright lights would certainly improve the ambience of eating the glory day Pizza.

First off, I delivered pizza for Glory Days through high school and college in Topeka and Lawrence. I got a delivery from the new Overland Park location and it never tasted better. It came hot and loaded with toppings. By far my all time favorite pizza. I’ve been to Chicago and New York, but this pizza, in my opinion, tastes the best. I’m so glad they opened one close, and glad to see them expanding. They have great ownership, managers and employees.

I've ordered carry out twice from here and have been very impressed on both occasions, very straightforward with no issues. Tons of fresh ingredients and pizza combinations not offered at other places, generous toppings, great pan style dough and delicious sauce. Crust is still crispy even with the generous amount of toppings, facility appears organized and clean, and staff is friendly. Definitely worth trying out, maybe slightly on the expensive side as it was about $35 for a large but all decent quality pizza has gotten fairly expensive. Will be ordering again!

Stopped by on Labor Day and they weren’t officially open, but we were allowed to dine in. We had a good conversation with one of the owners and learned a lot about why it took longer than planned to open, how they are so excited to be here in OP and how their pizza and ingredients are made fresh. Let me just say, the pizza is amazing. It reminds me of how pizza places used to be when I was a kid. Honestly, all that’s missing after amazing pizza is a standup arcade game and some pinball. The breadsticks are perfect, and if you don’t order the cinnamon sticks, you are missing out on something that’s perfect. I’m so happy that we have a new pizza option and loved it so much, we came back today.

Over the years, several pizza shops have operated at this location, but this one might be the best yet! The pizza was so delicious that I couldn't think about anything else except getting it into my mouth. I was so eager to eat that I almost dropped a slice into my lap while trying to place it on my plate. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which was almost too much for one person. Maybe it was because it was my first meal of the day, but I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The crust had the perfect balance of being lightly toasted with just a hint of char. Each slice was generously topped with plenty of pepperoni, and the cheese was melted beautifully on top. My first interaction with the staff was a bit awkward, but once I completed my order, we didn't interact much, and the food handoffs were smooth as butter. The atmosphere is perfect for medium-sized groups, couples, or solo customers, especially those wanting to get some work done while watching sports on one of their large TVs.

good pizza, original crust was similar to pizza hut pan, when i arrived there was no one at the counter or front of the house, and i waited for close to 10 minutes for someone. same for another customer who almost left but i told him to just give a shout and someone would be there, spoke with jason who might be the manager or owner, and he was a super nice guy, a draw of beer is a little pricey. i would definitely come back
